Having practiced exclusively in criminal law since her admission to practice in 2018, Alana is a Senior Associate and head of our Sunshine Office. She has extensive experience in handling a diversion range of Commonwealth and State criminal cases, including serious violence offences, fraud, sexual assault and drug offences.
Recognised for her in-depth understanding of criminal law, Alana is an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist, demonstrating a high level of expertise and commitment to defending the rights of individuals facing criminal charges. As head of our Sunshine office, Alana is passionate about ensuring those in the Western suburbs have strong legal representation. She has developed a particular interest in working with young adults, providing tailored legal representation and support during challenging times. In addition to court room advocacy, Alana enjoys written advocacy including crafting detailed applications for Working with Children Checks, applications to the Chief Commission for suspension of reporting obligations and permission to travel, firearms licensing and applications to be deemed non-prohibited persons.
