Nisha holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts, with majors in Criminology and Philosophy, from the University of Melbourne.
Prior to commencing with Stary Norton Halphen, Nisha was a Judge’s Associate at the County Court of Victoria. Whilst studying she worked as a legal researcher and assistant to criminal law barristers.
During her studies Nisha volunteered at Fitzroy Legal Service and Flemington & Kensington Community Legal Centre and completed internships at Victoria Legal Aid and the Police Accountability Project run by Flemington & Kensington Community Legal Centre.
