Jim’s Reflections:
The criminal law is the most urgent subject for the lawyer. It is concerned with the punitive powers of the state and the proper protection of individual liberty. The work of its many institutions maintains our community’s hopes for justice.

I would like to thank you for your representation in my matter, I came to you facing some serious jail time for an alleged trafficking offence, and you were able to work my case and get it down to a more appropriate charge, and a Community Corrections Order sentence. I will be recommending Jim McGarvie and your firm to people who need representation for criminal offences and am very happy with the outcome.
Jim McGarvie spoke very well in court and conducted himself professionally the whole time. I am could not be more grateful for his representation. The best possible outcome was achieved.

Advice from a competent and experienced criminal lawyer before you are interviewed can and often does have a meaningful impact on the outcome of your case and in some instances, is the difference between whether your matter proceeds to court or not.
